Randolph School is proud to have eight students recognized as finalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. This group represents 10% of the Randolph 2022 Senior class. In addition, this group is comprised of more students than any single school, public or private, in Huntsville and is tied as the most from any single private school in the state.

“These eight well-rounded students represent our school community so well, both in and out of the classroom. We are excited for them to be recognized with this distinct honor.” said David Peden, Randolph’s Head of Upper School.

In addition to this scholastic accomplishment, the students have shown a commitment to participating in all facets of school life. Among the finalists, 75% also participated in a sport during their junior year and each one has contributed to the School’s Arts program beyond the graduation requirement. There have been 16 Randolph students recognized as Semifinalists in the previous two graduating classes, all of whom became finalists.

Four members of the Class of 2022 are among the 34,000 students throughout the nation who were recognized for their exceptional academic promise as National Merit Commended Scholars.
