Partnerships with parents, grandparents and neighbors enrich our community life. Many parents volunteer in our classrooms and offices and at arts and athletic events. They support the School through their gifts. Our PARENTS+ program offers keynote and panel speakers, brown bag lunch gatherings and coffees on topics such as social and emotional development, wellness, school life and 21st-century learning. While most of our community events are geared toward Randolph parents, when appropriate, events of broad interest are opened to the wider community.
Parents are a vital part of the Randolph community. They support the School in meaningful ways, from volunteering in the library to working in the Outdoor Classroom gardens to giving and enlisting financial support for our program. Parents are our school’s greatest fans, turning out for fine arts productions, cheering from the sidelines at games, supporting academic team competitions, chaperoning field trips and providing a network of support and care for teachers, parents and students in need. Randolph looks to parents for feedback and fresh ideas, and we encourage them to play an active role in our community and to partner with us in the growth and development of the children they have entrusted to us.
The Randolph Community Network (RCN) is a volunteer organization dedicated to cultivating community life at Randolph and supporting and promoting its mission. Every parent is automatically a member. There are no dues. RCN volunteers augment and assist the high-quality educational experience our children receive at Randolph. Whatever your time and talent permits, there are opportunities for you to play an active role in the life of the School.
