What new information and substances are out there that we as parents and school leaders need to know?

What can parents do to help prevent their own children from abusing substances?

How can parents set family rules and expectations that are effective amidst the vast array of mixed messages our children receive?

What are some tips for having effective and healthy conversations round alcohol and drug-related issues?

How can parents work together to reduce risks of student substance abuse off-campus?

FCD’s approach is rooted in data and evidence from the social norms approach. Each year, there is new information about substance use that helps inform us as educators and parents. It’s important that we hear the very latest in substance prevention to ensure that our children remain healthy in a rapidly changing world.

Please join us for one of two identical sessions with FCD facilitators Rodney Poole and Stacy Kootsikas. They will be meeting with our middle and upper school children next week and will have great insights into our community and how national and local trends is substance use can best be addressed with Randolph students.

Please register for the session that best meets your needs:

Wednesday, September 17, 6:30 p.m., Upper School Lecture Hall
