Math Team Success on State Exam

Randolph math students solve for excellence.
Eight Upper School students took the State Written Math Exams at UAH right before Interim. Junior Tanuj Alapati made a perfect score and won the state. Unfortunately, he cannot qualify to go on to the state contest because he was the only Randolph student to take the test at that level.
Our Algebra II team won the district and we have qualified to go on to the state contest in April. Freshman Jack Maurer won the district. His teammates are fellow 9th graders Chase Guida, John Hedayat, Matthew Tao, Adam Wofford, and Simon Yang.

“I look forward to working with these students and hopefully growing our math team in the coming year,” says Upper School Math Teacher Gia Santos.
