Science Successes

Upper School science scholars shine.
Upper School Physics teacher Debbie Ormond took 11 students to the physics competition in Tuscaloosa at the end of January. The students took a written test and ciphered in teams with more than 200 other contestants. Junior Tanuj Alapati, in his first year of physics, came in third in the individual competition and received a medal and a book award.

Tanuj also the captained the Regional Science Academic Bowl in Mobile. Team members are Esper Chao, Somil Joshi, Mahip Kalra, and Bipul Mainali. Randolph finished in second place.
