The Alumni Association's second annual event included breakout sessions with alumni to provide the senior class with a sense of what to expect moving forward into college and beyond.
The first session featured sixteen volunteer alumni ranging from Classes of 1980-2009, who explored areas of business, communications, engineering, public service, medicine, law, and education with the students. The alumni enjoyed networking with each other over coffee and donuts beforehand, then broke into groups to share their personal stories and advice with the students.

*Participant in Senior/Alumni Day 2013 and 2014
Another central focus of the day was to allow college age alumni the opportunity to reconnect with the School, current students and each other. For the first time, alumni from the Classes of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 were invited back to share their experiences with the seniors and enjoy lunch together on the Garth campus.
In response to the event, some seniors shared their excitement with the Alumni Office:
“I learned so much today and met some great people! One might even let me shadow them one day.”
“I thought the Friday before Christmas was going to be a nothing day, and it turned out to be so helpful and fun!”
“I hope that I can stay in touch with the presenters we had! It’s neat to see what all they’ve accomplished. I have a long road ahead!”
Alumni enrich the students’ overall experience. They embody a continuing, reciprocal relationship with the school, and the Alumni Office greatly appreciates everyone who took the time to return to the Raider Nation.
