 You’ve heard of MySpace and Facebook, but social networking in schools? Join us for a one-hour session looking at various online social networks and the ways they can be used in education and beyond. See online profiles created for historical figures, discussions of books, fan fiction written and published by teens, shared digital videos produced by students and faculty, and opportunities for parents to communicate and get involved. You’ll learn about a number of existing sites and even create a social network of your own. Space is limited so register now! |
