Before joining Randolph's upper school faculty in 2009, Friedman was an instructor at Saint Andrew's School in Boca Raton, Fla., for five years, teaching courses in history, government, economics, philosophy, and public speaking. Between 1998 and 2003, he served as both an instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa while doing post graduate work there. He did additional post graduate work earlier at the University of Maryland at College Park.
