Homework and Teacher Pages

Homework is an essential part of the total instructional program at Randolph School. Teachers take their responsibility seriously to assign meaningful work and, therefore, expect students to prepare assignments carefully on a daily basis. Thirty to forty-five minutes of out-of-class work are normally assigned for each class in the Upper School. Honors classes may occasionally have more and Advanced Placement classes typically have more. In addition to daily preparations, students may from time to time expect long-term assignments in the form of research papers and reading. This necessitates the students learn to budget their time wisely – a skill of paramount importance for success in college.
