Perry earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Auburn University and a master’s degree in school counseling at Alabama A&M University. She has five years of teaching experience on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade levels in the school systems of Scottsboro and Madison, and served as a substitute teacher at Randolph prior to joining its 2nd grade faculty in 2008
