The Raiders Athletic Program, well known to our students as RAP, began in 2002 as “Athletic Activity Days” for the 3rd-6th grade students. RAP quickly grew into one of the largest clubs on campus, with over 60 students joining the club for a variety of athletic activities throughout the school year. The popularity of RAP led to the addition of several new teams in 2003.

RAP now includes soccer, volleyball, basketball and track programs. Providing these athletic teams for students has given them the opportunity to play together with classmates and has also given them the opportunity to develop incredible school spirit. Of course, RAP’s positive experience for our younger students would not be possible without the great support of parent volunteers.

Randolph's Lower School competes against area teams in the Huntsville Independent School League (HISL). Practices are primarily once a week for 3rd & 4th grade teams, and one to two times per week for 5th & 6th grade teams. The early grades participate in more recreation-style games, while older grades in the Lower School continue their focus on fundamentals and skill development.
