The parent of two Randolph students, Dr. Arney has been an active volunteer at the School since 2004 prior to being hired as a faculty member in 2009. In the private section, Arney has worked as a consulting chemist, specializing in molecular modeling, for Nektar Therapeutics in Huntsville, the Nobex Corporation in Raleigh, N.C., and for Hoechst Celanese both in Charlotte and in Germany.
