Whether you are looking for insights into readiness skills for kindergarten, or you would like to learn more about the synthesis of music and poetry, we would love to help. Sensitivity to sound--to poetry as a sensory medium--enriches readers' enjoyment and appreciation of poetry. This talk will suggest approaches for learning to listen and for moving from music to meaning. Through close reading of varied examples, the presenter and participants will practice identifying patterns of sound and exploring their significance.
