Active citizenship is part of Randolph’s mission. Throughout the year, our students are involved in projects and outreach locally and further afield. The School is proud to serve Huntsville and the surrounding area and we hope that we can continue to play an important role in the community as the city grows and develops.

Our new Auditorium in the Center for the Arts on the Garth Campus provides an outstanding venue for community events. We invite you to join us on campus sometime this year. In addition to offering an array of student performances, we host visiting artists and speakers. Some of which will be ticketed, others offered free of charge. Community events will be announced on our website and on our Facebook fan page and via Twitter.

Randolph will host two Huntsville Symphony Orchestra performances this year. Tickets are available through the HSO box office, 256-539-4818.

Community Service is an integral part of the Randolph experience where students are urged to venture beyond their own communities and to participate in outreach that increases their knowledge and understanding of those different from themselves. A wide range of programs focus on outreach to numerous groups and causes including: interacting with the elderly; public school mentoring and tutoring; interacting with Girls Club and Boys Inc.; canned food drives; building homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity; rescuing and protecting the environment; promoting literacy through book and periodical donations; and caring for our own campus. Students in grades 9-12 with 100 hours or more of annual service are recognized for their outreach during the Awards Day ceremony.
